Made entirely of aluminum except for a carbon drive shift and steel a pillars to support the classic "gullwing doors" Mercedes has something here much different then the over priced, over weight McLaren SLR. The car weighs in at only 3572lbs with a handbuilt 563hp, 6.2 liter AMG built v8, and an all new 7 speed dual clutch with driver controllable settings. Expected performance is 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of just under 200. Price should be around 225,000 to start with out things such as carbon-ceramic brakes.
